Height
of Narmada Dam was 80.3 meters in 1990; in 2003 it has been
raised to 100 meters plus 3 meter hump. Narmada waters started
flowing from Kevadia to Kutch – a remarkable achievement
in the history of the state. Villages were provided water
through pipelines instead of tankers. 10 rivers recharged
and filled up 700 ponds. A new era of Water revolution begin. |
